Core Purpose: Strengthen and amplify the success of women in the construction industry. We are a nonprofit organization focused on supporting women in the construction industry. We are a fun group of ladies who are passionate about supporting our community, offering education and training while providing self-development for women who have construction roles from administration to field positions.

You don’t have to be field employee or laborer to be a part of this wonderful organization. Our members come from all departments including accounting, entry level and senior project management, sales, estimating, general laborers and more. We have monthly meetings and would love to invite you to join us to see how we are shaping the pathway for women in our industry. If interested in attending, please send us an email. We may have forgotten to take a group photo at the Membership Mixer… but thankfully, we remembered to snap a few pictures of the artwork! 🎨

These are just a sampling of the fun finished pieces from the evening. We had all different skill levels and all kinds of ideas — some ladies created pieces for their daughters, one painted something special for a grandchild, others made holiday cards, and plenty just enjoyed experimenting and seeing where the paint took them!

A huge thank you to April for helping us get started with watercolor techniques, inspiration and design ideas. You made it easy for everyone to jump in and have fun with it!

We had such a great time and are already excited to do it again.

We’re looking forward to gathering together as we install our 2026–2027 Board of Directors and celebrate the start of another year of connection, leadership, and supporting women in construction.

Whether you're a longtime member or you've been curious about NAWIC, our Paint & Sip Mixer is the perfect opportunity to meet women in the construction industry in a relaxed, fun setting.
No painting experience needed—we'll provide everything you need to create your masterpiece!

Last weekend, one of our members had the opportunity to represent our chapter by volunteering at the Springfield Public Schools Back to School Bash!

This annual event helps local students and families prepare for a successful school year by providing backpacks, school supplies, community resources, and more. We’re proud to support opportunities that strengthen our community and make a positive impact.

A special thank you to our member for giving her time to serve and for representing NAWIC with pride.

We look forward to supporting more community events like this in the future!
