Before paper became common, old clothes were a valuable raw material.

For centuries, much of the Western world’s paper was made from discarded linen and cotton rags. Rag collectors gathered worn-out clothing and sold it to paper mills, where the fibers were broken down and made into new sheets.

Our OBC Industrial team was hard at work today loading out a new Harris American Company model 8043-HSS-10T75 auto-tie for storage at our shop. With twin 75 HP motors and a 10" main cylinder, this machine is built for fast, high-volume processing.

As one of the largest single-ram auto-tie balers on the market, the 8043-HSS is well suited for cardboard and paper operations. Its bi-level wire stand allows for easier spool loading while helping minimize downtime during bale tying.
