You probably knew this little boy.
He was always covered in dirt, digging holes in the yard, collecting rocks, taking things apart, and making every toy truck work overtime. Someone was constantly telling him to quit making a mess.
But he wasn’t just playing.
He was learning how things moved. How things worked. How to tear something down and build it back stronger.
Now that little boy has work boots by the door, grease on his hands, responsibilities on his shoulders, and a family depending on him. The toys became real, the dirt became a livelihood, and the boy everyone told to stay clean became the man people call when there’s hard work to be done.
He never grew out of playing in the dirt.
He just found a way to build a life in it.
