Cool, someone put log style siding on this double wide manufactured home. Not cool they ran it through the marriage line! Manufactured homes are designed to move. They need to be re-leveled 5- 10 years in some instances. This binds the home up and requires siding removal on both ends of home.

Every pe*******on on a roof is a potential leak. Especially if architectural/ laminate asphalt shingles are used 4:12 or lower pitch. Water will run horizontally instead of vertically.

This does not need to ever happen. We do planning, vetting of companies, project management, and turn key construction. This type stuff is 100% preventable, don't fall to price or a gimmicks.

There are so many ways to prevent this from happening. First always look up a company on Washington state L&I site, they make it easy. You can see if there are any claims against the company. Also connected licenses, with all past information. Second a person can hire a company like mine to help choose contractors, material etc. I also can be secured as the project manager, coordinating the project. I've seen to many projects done incorrectly to count. Everyone is a contractor supposedly, in my 30+ years I have met alot of fly-by-night guys. It drives me crazy, my industry gets devalued, then villanized. Even brand new homes can have issues if Generals aren't doing quality control on subcontractors. 90% of structures materials are not installed to manufacturers requirements.

A disabled veteran told us he was scammed out of $28,000 for a backyard project in Fircrest by a construction company. He says the betrayal hits harder because they brand as "veteran owned."
