🎉🖤 ONE WHOLE FREAKING YEAR! 🖤🎉

One year ago today, I created this business page with some metal, a plasma table, a big dream, and absolutely no clue where this adventure was going to take me.

Since then, Jigsaw Metal Works & Designs has grown into more than I ever imagined. I’ve made signs, memorials, trophies, dog-sport equipment, completely custom creations—and plenty of things that started with, “I have a weird idea…do you think you can make it?” 😂

My work has traveled all across the country, and this year I even shipped my very first international order to Canada! I’ve attended shows, taken on some massive projects, learned approximately 47 new ways for things to go wrong, and somehow continued figuring s**t out one cut, weld, grind, repaint, and minor mental breakdown at a time. 🤣

This business has challenged me, exhausted me, occasionally made me question every decision I’ve ever made—but it has also given me something that is completely mine. It has allowed me to create meaningful pieces, meet some incredible people, and prove to myself that I’m capable of so much more than I realized.

To every person who has ordered, shared a post, recommended my business, liked, commented, followed along, or trusted me to bring an idea to life: THANK YOU. Every single bit of support has helped build this little business into what it is today.

And a special thank-you to Randy for surviving the chaos, Wyatt for providing top-tier shop management, and Jigsaw—the four-legged legend and mascot who started it all. 🖤

One year down…and we’re just getting started. Bigger ideas, more metal, more chaos, and probably a whole lot more glitter are coming. 😏

🏕️ TROPHY UPDATE! 🎨

The camping trophies finally got some color today—and these fun fall shades are bringing the whole set to life! 🍂🔥

I spent the day painting, layering, and trying not to get more paint on myself than the trophies… you know, the usual shop activities. 🤣

They still need their finishing touches and that beautiful glossy clear coat, but tomorrow these bad boys are getting their FINAL REVEAL! 👀✨

🛠️ FUN FACT FRIDAY! 🛠️

Remember when I posted on my story that s**t was going wrong with my truck? Well, Randy’s surgery means he can’t do much right now… so guess who got promoted to mechanic while being heavily supervised by her very mechanically inclined husband? 😂🙋🏻‍♀️

Last weekend I:

🔧 Put new brakes and rotors on the back
🔧 Replaced the drag link assembly
🔧 Replaced the tie rod assembly
🔧 Discovered the nut on the rear passenger-side sway bar link was just… gone. That bitch was simply sitting there, hanging out and contributing absolutely nothing. 👀😅 So that got replaced too!

Fun fact: I took about half a school year of diesel mechanics at vo-tech during my senior year of high school. Apparently, some of that knowledge was still hiding in there somewhere! 😂

Of course, because absolutely nothing around here can ever just go smoothly, it also took four trips to the parts store. So we got to play in the Chevy a little too! 🤣

Thankfully, my niece makes the absolute best hand-squeezed lemonade, and they brought us some while we worked—because every mechanic needs a good pit crew and refreshments! 🍋

Give me some tools, four parts-store runs, fresh lemonade, and a husband supervising closely enough to make sure I don’t kill us later… and apparently I can do that s**t too! 💪🏻😂

Metalwork, mom life, dog chaos, and now diesel mechanic-ish. Just keep adding s**t to my résumé at this point. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Well… look who made it onto the plasma table. 🖤

Since it’s Cujo’s birthday, it only seemed right to finally get this bad boy cut out.

I’ve been messing with his design for far too long off and on, trying to get it just right while also figuring out how the hell to keep all the tiny details i wanted when cutting it out. I ended up just starting all over today and I am glad I did.

But considering Cujo never did a single fu***ng thing half-assed in his life, today felt like the appropriate day to quit overthinking it and say…

F**K IT. SEND IT. 😂🔥

And it freaking CUT.

There are SO many tiny cuts and details in this thing, and watching his face slowly come to life on the plasma table was pretty damn special. 🥹🖤

He still needs cleaned up, finished and painted, but I already love him. Of course this one is staying with me. I wanted a special marker for his grave.

I had been thinking on how I wanted to make this day special but until I woke up this morning I had not decided. It just hit me and I think this was the perfect way to celebrate him.

BACK ON TROPHY DUTY. 😂🔥

Alright, now that y’all have been on pause for two days, we’re getting back to your regularly scheduled trophy updates! 🤪

🏕️ The MR2s are CUT OUT and getting ready for cleanup!

And because apparently we can’t just cut s**t without a little ✨drama✨… my plasma tip decided to burn up while cutting the 2nd Place trophy — literally when it was ALMOST DONE. 🙃

If you watch the video, you can actually see the color of the plasma change when the tip starts going bad. Thankfully I caught it, did a quick tip change, backed the program up just a little bit, and let her finish what she started. 😂👏🏻

But Y’ALL… these camping trophies are turning out so freaking fun. Sometimes I look at something I designed on a computer, then see it actually cut out in metal and think…

Well s**t. I kinda surprised myself with that one. 🤣🔥

Next up: the MR3s hit the table… and THEN I’ve got a little surprise trophy coming that y’all haven’t seen yet. 👀🔥

I’m not showing that one off just yet because where’s the fun in that?! 🤪
