This month, we’re excited to spotlight Valerie Lozano!

Valerie began her professional journey in 2012 in Accounts Payable at a small microchip company. She soon transitioned into Accounts Receivable, expanding her skills and building a strong foundation in accounting, sales, quoting, and customer service.

In 2021, Valerie joined InteriorWorX in Accounts Payable while searching for greater work-life balance and continued professional growth. Although she was comfortable in accounting, she was ready to challenge herself. When a Project Manager opportunity became available, Valerie began asking questions, learning about the position, and ultimately decided to take a chance on herself, a decision she considers one of the best of her career!

Today, Valerie manages projects from start to finish, ensuring each one meets the schedule, budget, and client expectations. Her organized and dependable approach, combined with strong communication and attention to detail, helps create successful outcomes for our clients and project teams.

Jon entered the flooring industry in 1998, not knowing much about the trade. Fast forward 28 years, and he’s built an impressive career by learning every side of the business, from the office to the warehouse to the field. He eventually found his way into project management, where he’s spent the last 15 years!

In his role as Project Manager, Jon coordinates multiple projects while working closely with Account Executives and installation crews to make sure every project is completed accurately, on time, and on or under budget. His strengths are communication, attention to detail, and identifying potential issues early to reduce risk and keep projects moving forward.

Jon believes successful project management is about more than simply managing schedules. It’s about building trust, creating strong partnerships, communicating consistently, and delivering on commitments. His approach is collaborative, organized, and proactive, with a focus on planning ahead, taking ownership, and finding solutions.

One that has been driven by mentorship, hard work, and a commitment to continuous growth.

Today, Gabriel specializes in Corporate TI and Ground-Up Warehouse projects, focusing on building lasting client relationships and delivering projects with a mindset of extreme ownership. His approach is simple: anticipate challenges before they happen, communicate honestly, and find proactive solutions that keep projects moving forward.

He earned his 🎓 Bachelor’s degree in Business Management and began his career in hospitality management before transitioning into the ceramic manufacturing industry, where he served as a Regional Sales and Distribution Manager.
After relocating to 🌵 Arizona, Daniel launched and operated his own commercial and residential flooring company, gaining valuable entrepreneurial and hands-on industry experience over the course of 8 years. Owning and running a construction company became one of the most defining experiences of his career and helped shape his leadership style and industry expertise.
Today, Daniel specializes in tile, stone, and brick veneer, and currently serves as a Project Manager at InteriorWorx, where he is focused on growing into sales. With years of hands-on installation experience, he brings a practical, field-tested perspective and a true understanding of real-world jobsite conditions to every project.
Known for his practical, systems-driven, and growth-oriented mindset, Daniel believes that no matter how skilled someone becomes, there is always room for improvement. Beginning his career as a teenager working alongside family in the trade, Damon developed a strong foundation in installation that evolved into leadership roles overseeing complex, large-scale projects.

He completed his secondary education and has completed extensive industry and safety training, including OSHA 30 certification, Heartsaver First Aid, AED & CPR certification, and Schluter Systems Phase I & II certifications. His commitment to ongoing education reflects his dedication to safety, quality, and professional excellence in every aspect of his work.

Throughout his career, Damon has progressed from installer to multi-man crew leader, commercial sales and project manager, Lead Superintendent (Area Manager), and Tile & Stone Division Manager. This diverse experience has equipped him with a deep understanding of materials, installation methods, and the operational demands of high-performing job sites.

Damon specializes in installation quality, safety compliance, job-site coordination, scheduling, and team leadership.
