Halloween brings more activity into residential neighborhoods, especially once the sun goes down.

Drivers should expect children and families near sidewalks, driveways, parked vehicles, and intersections. Reduce your speed, leave extra stopping distance, keep your windshield and headlights clear, and avoid distractions behind the wheel.

It is also a good reminder that visibility and stopping ability depend on your vehicle being ready for the road. Worn tires, weak brakes, or poor lighting can make nighttime driving more difficult than it needs to be.

Hometown Tire and Auto provides tire service, brake inspections and repairs, maintenance, and diagnostics to help keep your vehicle ready for everyday driving.

Drive carefully and have a safe Halloween, Tooele.

Trucks often ask more from their tires, brakes, suspension, cooling system, and drivetrain, especially when they are used for work, hauling, or regular highway driving.

That makes routine maintenance even more important.

Hometown Tire and Auto services cars and light trucks with maintenance and repair options that include oil changes, brakes, diagnostics, tire service, cooling-system maintenance, CV axles, starting and charging repairs, A/C service, and more.

If something feels different, sounds different, or simply has not been checked in a while, it is worth having a professional take a look before a small issue becomes a larger repair.

Most drivers pay attention to the four tires on the road, but the spare often gets ignored for months or even years.

A spare tire can lose pressure while sitting unused, and finding that out after a flat is the last thing you want. Before a longer drive, take a few minutes to make sure your spare is properly inflated and still in usable condition.

Hometown Tire and Auto can also help with tire pressure checks, rotations, balancing, flat tire repair, wheel alignments, and tire replacement when needed.

A little preparation now can make a roadside problem much easier to handle later.
