We are pleased to announce the second recipient of our Employees’ Choice 10th Anniversary Giving Campaign. We presented a $10,000 anniversary donation to our nonprofit partner Community's Child, an organization that provides children, families and seniors experiencing poverty, hunger and/or homelessness with the resources necessary to thrive. Community's Child provides multiple outreach services including a food pantry, infant pantry, senior food program, health fairs, and more. Follow them to learn more or to volunteer. Congratulations!

Torrance Refining Company is pleased to announce the first recipient of our Employees’ Choice 10th Anniversary Giving Campaign. During the July 14 Torrance City Council meeting, we presented a $10,000 anniversary donation to our community nonprofit partner The Friends of Madrona Marsh, Madrona Marsh Preserve and Nature Center, an organization comprised of volunteers dedicated to the preservation, education, and aesthetics of the Madrona Marsh Preserve for more than 50 years. On hand to accept were Suzan Hubert and Ollie the Frog, with Community Relations Manager Barbara Graham, Refinery Manager Jared Wimberley, and former Torrance Mayor George Chen. Congratulations!

It was a great day for the 33rd Annual Kids Classic Golf Tournament, raising funds to support youth programs at Torrance-South Bay YMCA! Torrance Refinery is proud to be the presenting sponsor of the event, which brings together business partners, volunteers, and golfers to support Youth Advisory Council, Sleep Away Camp, Youth & Government, Youth Institute of Media Arts, and more!
