The 2026 Rebuilt season has truly been the most amazing season in our team's history. Not only did we meet our season goals, we surpassed them in ways we never thought possible for our small team. 🥰
Our season started in Traverse City where we ended in 7th place with an 8-4 record. We were selected by the 3rd alliance captain, Onaway Robotics along with our partners Frankfort Robotics Team . Our alliance made it all the way to the finals and.... we won our home event!!! We also took home the Rising All-Star award for the first time!
Next, we headed North to LSSU for our second competition. Here, we ended in 1st place and were undefeated in quals, an achievement that our team has never experienced in our 14-year history! For our alliance, we chose E-Ville Empire Team 5216 and Robotic Turmoil Team #5486 to join our alliance. Our alliance made it to round four of the playoffs where we were eliminated. We also won another award for the first time: the Quality award.
We were lucky to have accumulated enough district points to qualify for the Michigan State Championship this season! Overall, our team placed 22nd with a record of 4-8. We were selected to be on the 7th alliance captained by team9215 and joined by 1023 Bedford Express . Here, we had our fair share of challenges and were eliminated in round 2 of the playoffs. Not only were we on an alliance, we also were once again presented the Rising All-Star award!!
Now, we have accumulated 188 district points meaning...
WE HAVE QUALIFIED FOR WORLDS FOR THE SECOND TIME IN A ROW!!! 🎉🎉
We are beyond excited to have received our invitation to the World Championship and are so grateful to our mentors, students, parents, sponsors, and alliance partners who have helped us make it so far! We couldn't have done it without your help!!! 💙
After many long discussions throughout this season, we have made the difficult decision to decline our invitation to the World Championship. There were many factors that led our team to make this choice but we believe it was in the best interest of our team
Now it's time for our team to get some much needed rest before we prepare for the 2026-2027 season! 😴😴
