The Academy of Craft Training begins its 11th year with four Alabama campuses, nearly 1,000 students and hundreds moving toward construction

Last Friday, we held our Annual Stone Management Meeting! We spent the morning hearing from our project teams, discussing challenges, getting feedback, celebrating project highlights, finding ways we can continue improving the way we work, and setting goals for the year ahead.

We also had the opportunity to tour the Academy of Craft Training downtown and meet some of the students. It was a great way to connect, learn, and look ahead at what’s to come for our industry.

Once business was done, the entire Stone staff headed to Fairway Social for our 2026 Stone Challenge! We joined together for a little friendly competition, tackling a few challenges and working as teams to battle it out for the win! 🏆⛳️

Tonight, we broke ground on the new Sylacauga Rec Center! 🪏👏 What an awesome addition this will be to the City of Sylacauga and the community. We’re excited to get started and bring this project to life!

Another successful Community Service Project in the books! 👏

Our interns took ownership of this project from start to finish—estimating costs, sourcing materials and tools, coordinating deliveries, and completing the entire project in just one day.

We’re proud of the hard work, teamwork, and leadership they demonstrated throughout the process.

Grace House Ministries, we hope the students and teachers enjoy this new parking area and walkway! We’re honored to help create a smoother, safer, and wheelchair-accessible space for your community. 💙👷

Today, our interns had the opportunity to tour and learn more about Garrison Steel and the incredible work they do for our industry. We enjoyed getting a behind-the-scenes look at their fabrication shop and yard, while learning more about their operations and what has fueled Garrison’s continued growth and success.
