This summer, 25 interns joined the B+K ʻohana across our Architecture, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, IT, Mechanical and Civil Engineering teams.
Throughout the program, they gained hands-on experience supporting real projects, connected with professionals from a variety of disciplines, and immersed themselves in B+K's collaborative culture.
Some of their highlights included:
✅ A "Talk Story" with B+K President, Brian Bowers.
✅ Visiting Hawaiʻi's first Living Building Challenge home in Pālolo Valley.
✅ Touring major infrastructure projects, including Daniel K. Inouye International Airport and the Honouliuli Water Recycling Facility.
These experiences provided a firsthand look at how design, engineering, and construction shape our communities across Hawaiʻi. Mahalo to our interns for their enthusiasm, fresh perspectives, and meaningful contributions throughout the summer. We look forward to seeing all that they accomplish in the future.
