Fort Mill's been my main attraction. Only one project outside of this town since moving here. Currently working on this entertainment built-in. Final results coming in a week. On average, I work about 10 minutes from home. I couldn’t ask for better.

I wanted to wait until this one was fully finished, but I'm too hyped. Had a blast working on it. Golf anyone?

I don’t have a career that is a work from home kind but sometimes I get the privilege when I’m doing custom items. The past few days it’s been a blessing to be right outside of my own door doing the things I enjoy in this wonderful weather. Plus my baby girls pop over to say hello while they’re on their trikes. South Carolina life is growing on me.

Back to the office. Added another floating shelf. Feels like it really helped finish the room. Fun project. Did the crown molding, chair rail, resurfaced the desk with white oak, added trim to the existing desk to cover gaps the client didn’t like, installed a flush mount supply air vent and put new contemporary trim on the window and door. Then I painted and finished it all. The client also had recessed lights added to brighten the space. Gave more life to an already clean area.

Well painting takes longer than I think it does. I’m used to watching the pros get it done. I can paint but it’s not my trade. I’ll take care of it in a pinch though.

I’ve still got some touch ups to do. I’ll seal the desk tops in the morning and hit the few spots of paint I don’t like then the rest of the weekend will be family time. Back to the remainder on Monday.
