Before becoming the owner of Stable Foundations of GA, I worked for 5 other companies in the concrete/tilt up industry. From a detailer, to estimator, to Senior PM, to divisional manager. I learned from most of those other owners what NOT to do to be successful. However, one of them is who taught me 90% of what to do and that was Michael DeLoach Sr. From how to handle General Contractors, estimating, inspectors, and just the every day issues of running a concrete construction company. I still, 25 years later, still find myself in a crunch and thinking what would Micheal do. If I don't know what you would do I just pick up the phone and call hom. The first word that comes to mind when I hear Michael DeLoach Sr name is INTEGRITY!! This man inside and outside of business is a Godly man and his word is worth its weight in gold. Mr. DeLoach retired officially last year but the amount of people he trained/helped in this industry is unimaginable. I would just like to say "Thank you Sir" for all that you have done for me and the tilt up industry and the hundreds of thousands of people you employed over the years!!

And that is a wrap on the tilt up panel er****on phase on the Kay Ivey Prison Support Warehouse. We battled rain, ice, cold temperatures, high winds, and bad soils the past 5 weeks to get the foundations, 10" thick slab with steel fibers and 11 3/4" insulated sandwich panels in on the target date. Great job by all of our crew members and subcontractors that helped make this happen.

Tomorrow is my favorite day of the project. It's time to make 90,000 lbs of concrete fly on the Kay Ivey Prison Support Warehouse in Alabama.

We were blessed to be awarded the Kay Ivey Support Warehouse in Elmore, AL by Bear Brothers, Inc. This is a 60,000 SF building and we are doing the footings, slabs, insulated tilt up panels, elevated mezzanine, and exterior paving on this project. We broke ground on the foundations this AM. Thank you God for this blessing.

Another project completed. We provided the footings, slab on grade, tilt panels, front sidewalks, exterior dock ramp, and 9' tall cast in place dock wall on this Academy Sports located in Albany, GA. A special thanks to TD Farrell, the general contractor, for trusting in us as their concrete subcontractor for this job.

Stable Foundations of GA, LLC is now a certified Pervious Concrete Contractor. We poured 15,000 SF at the JCB WesPro project in Norcross, GA while earning our certification. This product, in my opinion, is not pretty but it serves it's purpose. It is designed to allow water to drain through it and into the underlying soil. Alot of counties are requiring a certain square footage of this due to the storm water infrastructure can't sustain all of the new building going on. When you pour water onto this pervious concrete, it disappears.

The formliner and reveal really turned out nice in the tilt panels on the WesPro JCB project in Norcross, GA. It was time consuming. Can't wait to see it painted!! Good job guys!

The Academy Sports in Albany, GA is coming along, and coming along quickly. Three weeks in and footings are 90% complete, slab is 100% complete, and tilt up panels are 50% done. We will pour tilt panels this week then next week bring in the 300 Ton crane to erect the tilt panels. 24 working days from the time we stuck a bucket into the dirt til panels are up!!!

Today we pumped and placed the fascia wythe and the insulation on the tilt up insulated sandwich panels at the JCB Equipment project in Norcross that we are building for TD Farrell. As far as square footage goes this is one of the smallest jobs we have done in awhile. The building is only 15,000 square feet but there are 25,000 square feet of tilt panels. However, with overall 15" thick insulated panels and with 80% of the panels covered in a custom made form liner and reveal it is pretty complex to be so small. Great job today guys!!

Stable Foundations of GA, LLC had a great pour this morning in Covington, GA at the Cinelease Three Ring Studios. It was a 32,000 SF slab on grade. Thanks to Southern Ready Mix, Brundage Bone Pumping, and Southeast Concrete Finishing!!

This project is a 120,000 SF retail project that we did the footings, slabs, tilt, freezer slabs, mezzanine, cast in place walls, and paving on for MacDougall Pierce Construction out of Indiana. Below or some pics of tilt panels ready to be poured and some pics taken during the tilt panels being erected on the BJ Wholesale project in McDonough, GA. It is always fun watching the guys from TMC Cranes work their magic in the crane.
