We Innovate. This World Creativity and Innovation Day, we’re celebrating 80 years of Amtrol creativity and innovation. Amtrol delivers reliable, clean and safe water solutions that people depend on at home and at work, with most of the products invented at the same facility where they are still produced in West Warwick, Rhode Island.
For example, Amtrol’s Extrol® tank revolutionized the hydronic industry with the first pre-pressurized diaphragm expansion tank, which controls pressure buildup and improves efficiency in heating and circulation systems. Amtrol also invented the first pre-pressurized well water tank — today known as Well-X-Trol® — which set the industry standard, and our indirect fired water heater and thermal expansion tank, Therm-X-Trol®.
