A contemporary architecture, construction and interior design studio creating residential and commercial spaces with warmth and thoughtful detail.

Three distinct homes, each with its own site, scale, and story, and all now recognized with 2026 HOBI Awards from the Home Builders & Remodelers Association of CT, Inc. These prestigious honors celebrate excellence in design and construction.

Each was designed and built by one integrated team, from early concept through final construction. We’re grateful to the homeowners who trusted us with their vision, and to our visionary team and partners whose care is evident in every detail.

🏡 Best Custom Home, 9,000–10,000 SF: a new build on the Saugatuck shoreline, designed around light, views, and life by the water.

🏡 Best Custom Home, 3,000-4,000 SF: A beautifully proportioned custom residence in Fairfield that demonstrates how exceptional design can transform a smaller lot into an extraordinary living experience.

🏡 Best In Town Custom Home: a new Westport residence that brings a custom home into close conversation with its community.

Every project we take on begins with listening, and it’s rewarding to hear that the result exceeded expectations. Thank you for trusting us with your vision.

A clean, mantel-free plaster fireplace keeps the story focused on organic curves, soft light, and textural warmth. Sometimes the most understated details make the biggest impact.

Thank you Design_DecorMagazine for featuring our story, as told by founder & principle architect Lucien Vita, in the magazine's October edition!

Inside, Lucien Vita walks the reader through the central question that formed the foundation of Vita Design Group: What becomes possible when the people designing the home and those responsible for building it enter the conversation together?

The answer? A more thoughtful, cohesive process where challenges become opportunities, ideas are refined through collaboration, and every decision is guided by a shared vision.

Close the circle with interior design, and every project begins with the same understanding of the client and carries that intention from the earliest plans to the final layers of the home.

The result is our Golden Moment, again and again and again: sharing in the client's excitement as they walk into their dream home.

With interiors, a home's personality comes through in all the little details. ✨

We're pleased to be part of the latest issue of "Connecticut: A Life Well Lived," presented by Higgins Group Private Brokerage x Forbes Global Properties, a publication celebrating the homes, builders, designers, and architects shaping life in Connecticut.

Are they stairs... or are they statement makers?

A vision realized. ✨ We're honored to be named among the "Connecticut Architects You Need to Know" in the October issue of Connecticut Cottages & Gardens.

Long before design-build became a familiar phrase, Lucien Vita imagined a different way to create a home, one where architecture, construction, and interior design work as a single discipline from the first sketch to the final detail. That idea still guides every project we take on.

Our thanks to the Cottages & Gardens team and to the clients who trust us with their homes.
