The STEP Safety Management System, developed by ABC, provides contractors and suppliers with a comprehensive framework for measuring safety performance and benchmarking with peers across the industry. This recognition reflects our continued commitment to maintaining a strong culture of safety across every project and job site.
A special shoutout to Michele Garcia, our Safety Administrator, for all she does with ABC Delaware and for her leadership serving as Committee Chairperson for ABC Delaware’s Safety, Health & Wellness Committee last year. We were proud to support a Wilmington tradition this past weekend at the Wilmington Flower Market 🌸
For the eighth year in a row, BPGS Construction sponsored the Beer Garden by donating the time, labor, and materials needed to build the event fencing around the beer garden, helping create a safe and welcoming space for guests to gather and celebrate.
For more than a century, the Wilmington Flower Market has raised funds to benefit Delaware’s children, supporting local charities and making a meaningful impact across the state. We’re honored to play a small role in such an important community event.

Big things are coming to Kirkwood ⚽️
BPGS Construction is proud to announce the Kirkwood Turf Renovations Project, a transformational redevelopment that will elevate this 65-acre sports complex into a premier regional destination for athletes, families, and the community.

Key highlights of the project include:
🏟️ Conversion of four existing grass fields into premium synthetic turf fields with high-mast lighting
💡 Refurbishment of an aging turf field and the addition of five brand-new, state-of-the-art lit turf fields
🌱 Optimization of seven high-quality grass fields, including three elite Bermuda-grass playing surfaces
🚻 Modernized restroom facilities designed to enhance the guest experience
🚗 Expansion of parking from 326 spaces to 1,357, adding more than 1,000 new spots to support growing visitor demand

With $10 million in capital improvements, this latest announcement reflects continued growth and expansion for the sports management organization while investing in recreation, accessibility, and community impact.

Safety isn’t just a focus this week, it’s a commitment we make every single day. 👷‍♂️🦺

Construction Safety Week is a week-long event that happens annually. This week each of our job sites are hosting a safety stand down to join as the construction industry, its clients, and business partners take this opportunity to recommit to sending every worker home safe each day.

At BPGS Construction, safety remains one of our top priorities across every jobsite, project, and team. We’re proud of the culture our employees help build daily, one rooted in accountability, awareness, and care for one another.

A special thank you to Michele Garcia, our Safety Administrator, who served as Committee Chairperson for the Associated Builders and Contractors Delaware Chapter Safety, Health & Wellness Committee last year and works everyday to enforce company safety programs and working to have all of our sites be as safe as possible.

🏗PROJECT MILESTONE: Rowhaus Apartments
📍WILMINGTON RIVERFRONT, DELAWARE

The BPGS Construction team has reached a major milestone on our latest Riverfront project. Rowhaus, previously known as Justison Landing Parcel 1, has officially topped out!

The 7-story residential building is constructed with precast plank and prefabricated CFMF wall panels. Exterior work will now focus on installing the standing seam zinc façade, followed by perimeter landscaping. Inside, crews are advancing MEP system installation and progressing toward interior finishes.

This milestone brings us one step closer to delivering 164 units to the Wilmington Riverfront in late Summer 2026. The 162,000 square foot development will offer studio to two-bedroom apartments alongside a full amenity package, including a private pool and courtyard with grilling stations, rooftop terrace with outdoor dining, communal kitchen and lounge, fitness center, coworking spaces, billiards room, and bike storage.

Last week BPGS Construction brought home the gold at the BPG 2026 Kickball Tournament! 🏆⚽
It was a great day getting together with teams from across the company for some friendly competition, fun in the sun, and plenty of team spirit at The Chase Fieldhouse. Opportunities like this give us time to connect outside of the jobsite and celebrate the people who make our team strong.

Project Engineer JT Farro is stepping away from the construction field temporarily to attend the Infantry Basic Officer Leader Course. We could not be more proud to have someone with his dedication, character, and heart on our team.

JT began his military journey in 2018 when he enlisted in the Delaware Army National Guard as a Tactical Power Generation Specialist. After completing Basic Combat Training and Advanced Individual Training, he joined ROTC at the University of Delaware and earned his commission as a 2nd Lieutenant in December 2024. Today, he serves with Charlie Company, 1st Battalion, 109th Infantry Regiment in the Pennsylvania Army National Guard.

Reflecting on his service, JT shared that the people and the opportunity to lead others have been the most meaningful parts of his military experience, reinforcing his commitment to serving something greater than himself. “The opportunity to serve and lead others is a privilege. I strive to be the best soldier and leader I can be and have a positive impact on those I serve with.”

Join us in wishing JT continued success and safety during this chapter and look forward to welcoming him back to BPGS Construction. Thank you to all the men and women who dedicate their lives to serving our country.
