In many parts of Uganda, access to safe and reliable medical care is not guaranteed—especially for expecting mothers. What should be a joyful moment can quickly become life-threatening without trained professionals and proper facilities.

That’s why the work of the Nia Davenport Medical Clinics is so vital. These clinics are providing essential care, hope, and safety for families who might otherwise go without it.

We are especially grateful for this mother who came to the clinic to deliver her beautiful baby girl. During labor, the umbilical cord presented complications that could have made the delivery very dangerous. But because a skilled midwife was present, both mother and baby are safe today.

This photo is more than a moment—it’s a reminder of why access to quality healthcare matters. 💛

Every mile in this video echoes the reality of the Nia Davenport Sports Outreach medical centers in Uganda, serving souls who live more than 25 miles from the nearest care.
