Josh joined Graybrooke Technologies in October 2022 and has become a key part of our day-to-day operations. Around the shop, he has earned the nickname “Jash of all Trades” because of his willingness to step in wherever needed and help keep projects moving forward.

Over the past several years, Josh has taken on responsibilities including:
• VFD and panel commissioning
• Warehouse inventory
• Shipping & receiving
• Logistics and driving support
• General shop operations and coordination

As Shop Lead, Josh will continue serving in his hands-on technical roles while also helping oversee daily shop workflow, project coordination, scheduling, and production accountability. Josh has consistently demonstrated reliability, versatility, and a strong work ethic, and we are excited to see him continue growing within Graybrooke Technologies.

Our team will be joining Association for Facilities Engineering Chapter 23 for an upcoming tour of Nordfab in Thomasville on Tuesday, March 12.

This is a great opportunity to get a behind-the-scenes look at clamp-together & heavy-gauge fl**ge ducting manufacturing, while connecting with other professionals in the industry.

𝗕𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝘁, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗴𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗯𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀.

After an extended Christmas break, we are back in motion and continuing to settle into our new facility. Some days the progress is loud. Other days it looks like tape lines, backroom shelving, and figuring out where everything should live.

These moments might not make the highlight reel, but they matter. The things that go unnoticed when done correctly are the same things that are immediately noticed when done incorrectly. Getting the space organized the right way now sets us up to move faster and smarter later. One shelf at a time.

𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝗩𝗶𝘀𝗶𝘁 𝗮𝘁 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝗴𝗲
Members of the Graybrooke Technologies team recently visited The Forge in Greensboro alongside Chapter 13 of the Association for Facilities Engineering ( ).

The group was welcomed by the mayor and local business ambassadors, who introduced the space and guided them through the wide range of capabilities available to the maker community. From woodworking and welding to CNC machining, 3D printing, electronic fabrication and programming, textiles, a wood and composites lab, and a ceramics studio, The Forge stands out as a powerful hub for hands-on learning, creativity, and innovation.

This makerspace reinforces the value of community collaboration and practical skill-building across industries.

Please join us in officially welcoming Gavin Dehart as our newest permanent member of the Graybrooke Technologies team!

Today marks Gavin’s 180-day milestone with us, which means he has successfully leveled up from "survivor” to full-time employee. We’re excited to have him on board and appreciate the work, effort, and attitude he has brought to the team so far. His "dad lore" is off the charts!

To properly commemorate this major career achievement, Graybrooke proudly covered 20% of the cost of Gavin’s Concrete Mixer today from Culver’s, because nothing says welcome to the team quite like covering a fraction of the cost of a frozen custard mixed with questionable life choices.

Welcome aboard, Gavin! We are glad you’re here and looking forward to what’s ahead!

𝗖𝗘𝗟𝗘𝗕𝗥𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗣𝗘𝗢𝗣𝗟𝗘 𝗪𝗛𝗢 𝗠𝗔𝗞𝗘 𝗜𝗧 𝗛𝗔𝗣𝗣𝗘𝗡

Last night we hit pause on projects, deadlines and the daily rush to spend an evening focused on something far more important: our people. Our Christmas dinner was much more than a meal... It played like a highlight reel of a year filled with milestones, memories and moments that remind us why this team is one of a kind.

We celebrated two recent weddings from within our team this year and we laughed at baby photos that may never be lived down. We talked about vehicles none of us need but all of us secretly want, and we continued the ongoing investigation into whether one particular staff member’s legendary bathroom breaks should qualify as record-breaking. The bravest among us sampled hot boiled peanuts for the first time this year, which confirmed beyond all doubt that some Southern traditions are an acquired taste.

Last night was a simple reminder of something we sometimes forget while in the middle of everything we build, ship, design and deliver. A company is not defined by its equipment or its inventory; It is defined by its people. The laughter, the growth, the shared experiences and the stories that become part of our culture are what truly fuel us.

Here’s to the team that makes it all possible, and to a year that gave us plenty to celebrate.

𝗠𝗢𝗩𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗗𝗔𝗬!
We are excited to share that Graybrooke is upgrading to a new facility that better aligns with our growth and operational needs. Our current warehouse is beginning to look a little empty, which serves as a bittersweet reminder of how far we have come and how much we have scaled.

With more than $2M in stocked inventory ready for our customers, transitioning our materials and equipment is no small task. Our team has been working tirelessly to ensure a smooth move and minimal disruption to the people who rely on us.

Our team was invited to tour the new facility in Kernersville, NC. This breakbulk hub is the largest in the XPO network, and with 333 dock doors, it’s also the largest facility of its kind in North Carolina by door count.

The highlight of our visit was the opportunity to spend meaningful time in conversation with Mario Harik, CEO of XPO, whose leadership and vision have been instrumental in driving XPO’s continued growth and innovation.
