When we needed more room to support our continued growth, we chose adaptive reuse over ground-up construction, transforming a former LA Fitness in Bolingbrook into a 50,000+ sq. ft. extension of our headquarters.

A few months into calling it home, the vision we shared at the beginning of the project is now part of our everyday work environment.

The renovated facility supports 80+ team members and includes conference and training centers, collaborative workspaces, a fitness center, basketball court, golf simulator, and indoor and outdoor social spaces.

Adaptive reuse gave an existing building a second life while allowing us to create a workplace built around the needs of our growing team.

⛳️ 🏌🏼‍♂️The weather may not have cooperated, but that didn’t stop us from enjoying the 27th Annual BOMA/Chicago Golf Classic!

Our team had a great day last week connecting with clients, catching up with industry partners, and refreshing golfers with our AMS Chiller Drink Oasis.

Thanks to BOMA/Chicago for another memorable outing. Rain or shine, it’s always a day well spent with this group. 🏌️‍♂️⛳️

Our team had a great time going Back to the ’80s at the FirstService Residential Illinois Annual Vendor Exposition!

The event gave us another opportunity to connect with property management professionals, showcase our full range of services, and catch up with many familiar faces throughout the industry.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth and learned more about how we support properties across the region. We appreciate the conversations and look forward to seeing everyone again next year!

As we celebrate , we’re taking a look back at a busy summer for our 2026 interns.

More recently, the group toured Chicago’s architecture while visiting some of our projects along the way, giving them a closer look at how mechanical construction supports some of the city’s most recognizable buildings.

They concluded the program with a final project focused on planning a crane pick for an HVAC equipment replacement. From logistics and coordination to safety and ex*****on, they had to think through the same details our teams consider when preparing for work in the field, then present their plan to the group.

Thank you to our interns for the energy, curiosity, and hard work they brought every day, and to every employee and industry partner who helped make this year’s program possible. We’re proud to support the next generation of construction professionals and look forward to seeing where their careers take them.

Big thank you to Synergy Mechanical, Inc. for stopping by and providing a training session focused on testing and balancing fundamentals.

The session began with a classroom overview before moving into practical demonstrations and rotating stations, where attendees gained experience taking airflow readings and measurements across several common HVAC systems and equipment types.

Hands-on opportunities like this give our team a closer look at how testing and balancing is performed in the field and how accurate measurements contribute to overall HVAC system performance.

🏢 Our commercial HVAC and plumbing teams recently completed a boiler and domestic hot water plant upgrade at the 1000+ room hotel, working alongside our trusted partners at Grumman/Butkus Associates.

The project included the installation of nine new condensing boilers, totaling 54 MMBTUH, to serve both the building heating and domestic hot water systems. Our team also installed new pumps, thermostatic mixing valves, and DDC controls to improve redundancy, system turndown, reliability, and long-term energy efficiency.

Careful planning made all the difference. The work was completed without the need for a costly temporary boiler plant, while keeping hot water system downtime within a four-hour window.

The result is a system that gives the hotel’s operations team greater reliability, flexibility, performance, and energy savings for years to come. 🏢

🎉 Congratulations to our own Dillon Buschmann and Special Olympics Illinois- Unified Volleyball on an incredible showing at the Special Olympics USA Games in Minnesota, where the team brought home a silver medal.

Dillon served as a Unified Partner, competing alongside teammates on one of the biggest stages in Special Olympics sports. Before he left, our AMS team gathered for a small send-off to wish him luck, and now we’re proud to celebrate the result of their hard work.

Congratulations to Dillon and the entire team on this well-earned accomplishment! 🎉
