❄️ Our Industrial Refrigeration team recently completed a project for a suburban bakery where we replaced an aging condenser that had significant scale buildup and was no longer operating as efficiently as it should. The new condenser gives the facility added capacity, improved performance, and a more maintainable system moving forward.

This project also included the addition of a VFD, helping the equipment better respond to system demand and operate more efficiently throughout production.

The work had to be completed within a narrow window to help minimize plant downtime. That took close coordination with the customer, careful planning from our team, strong ex*****on in the field, and support from Stevenson Crane Service, Inc. to safely and efficiently handle the lift. 🏗️

Our Commercial team recently completed a chiller replacement project at a suburban shopping center, removing two existing chillers and installing a new 1,200-ton chiller in their place.

We also installed new condenser pumps, a replacement refrigerant detection system, and the controls upgrades needed to support the new equipment.

It’s this type of work that most people never see, but every building depends on it. Careful planning, skilled field ex*****on, and coordination across all teams involved played a part in bringing this infrastructure upgrade online.

👷‍♂️👷‍♀️ As a company committed to the safety and well-being of our employees, we are proud to announce our participation in last week’s National Safety Stand-Down for Construction Safety Week. We visited multiple job sites to highlight and refresh the importance of safety practices that can help us all go home at the end of the day.

Last week, we focused our safety efforts on hand injuries and falls from heights. Our safety team partnered with Magid to provide insight on proper glove use and new technology being utilized to improve worker safety. Proper ladder use and fall protection were also key topics during the safety stand-downs conducted throughout the week.

Together, we're one team with one goal: to ensure that we all go home safely at the end of the day. We believe that by prioritizing safety and providing resources for our employees, we can create a safer and healthier work environment for everyone. 👷‍♀️👷‍♂️

Before ➡️ After: Boiler Controls Upgrade

Our team recently upgraded an outdated DDC controller to a new system built with readily available parts and stronger long-term support.

By upgrading the hardware, we improved the sequence of operation to provide a small energy/gas saving based on boiler staging and optimizing hot water temperature based on load to provide a cleaner panel and a savvier control strategy.

Behind every high-performance data center is a mechanical system built for reliability.

At a new data center project, our riggers and pipefitters recently set ten 27,600 lb chillers, marking a major milestone in the delivery of critical cooling infrastructure designed to keep operations running around the clock.

Working alongside La Grange Crane Service, our team helped execute this phase with the coordination, planning, and field expertise complex mechanical projects demand. The lift was impressive, but the bigger story is the system taking shape and the people making it happen.

Some jobs are measured in tons. Others are measured in teamwork. This one took both.

We’re proud to help deliver the mechanical infrastructure behind this facility and look forward to completing three additional chiller picks in the months ahead.
