This morning in Carlisle, PA, Pyramid joined Hope House of Cumberland Valley to break ground on a transitional home for survivors of domestic abuse. A large crowd of Carlisle community members, elected officials, and representatives from area churches and business all came to show their support and tour the building in the “before” stage.
After four years of planning, Hope House is one step closer to becoming a reality and Pyramid is honored to be a part of the legacy of hope and healing that they are bringing to the Carlisle community.

Today we were excited to join the Ronald McDonald House Central PA to cut the ribbon on the new Patricia S. Ford Playland. Outdoor play is a important factor in a child’s wellbeing, and this new playground space will give the children staying at the house a chance to explore, be active, meet new friends and spend some time outside with their families. We were honored to be a part of this project which will bring happy moments to the families served by the Ronald McDonald House.

We're pleased to announce the promotion of Erin McKay to Project Manager.

Erin joined Pyramid in July 2022 as a Project Administrator. She quickly demonstrated a strong work ethic, eagerness to learn, and commitment to our team. When the opportunity came up, Erin transitioned into the APM role, where she continued to expand her knowledge or the business, develop her skills, and take on increasing responsibilities. Through her hard work, determination, dedication, and positive mindset, Erin has earned this advancement.

Safety is more than a priority at Pyramid Construction—it’s a commitment to our people. Recently several of our team members participated in CPR, First Aid, and AED training provided by the The Peyton Walker Foundation to ensure they’re prepared to respond when every second counts. This training was part of Pyramid’s ongoing commitment to workplace safety and preparedness.

Why does it matter? According to the American Heart Association, approximately 211,000 construction workers in the U.S. have been diagnosed with cardiovascular disease, and bystander CPR can double or even triple a cardiac arrest victim’s chance of survival.

Thank you to everyone who participated and invested in building a safer workplace—because safety starts with being ready to help one another.
