🌳 Keeping the Lights On Through Proactive Maintenance

Reliability starts long before a storm arrives. That's why Jefferson Energy takes a proactive approach to right-of-way maintenance, one of the most effective ways to prevent outages caused by trees and vegetation.

To strengthen system reliability, we've shortened our trimming cycle from six years to five years and are evaluating a ground-to-sky trimming approach in targeted areas. By addressing potential hazards before they become problems, we can reduce storm-related outages, improve safety, and restore power more efficiently when issues do occur.

It's all part of our year-round commitment to providing safe, reliable service and protecting the electric system our members depend on every day.
