It’s been a wild few weeks at Colebrooke Custom Homes — 4 closings in the last 3 weeks and our crews have been moving nonstop. Because of that, we’ve been a little behind on sharing progress updates… so here’s a quick look at what’s happening across several of our builds 👇

🏡 A beautiful presale home in Louisburg is nearing completion and coming together exactly as planned.

🔨 Two spec homes in Spring Hope are officially framed up — the overhead views really show how much progress has been made.

🏠 Our Raleigh presale is framed and roughed in, and we’re moving right into insulation, drywall, and exterior siding.

⭐ One of our two Franklin County Parade entries — a spec home in Louisburg — is making major progress and we can’t wait to show more.

🚧 And our second Parade entry in Youngsville is getting ready to go vertical… trust us, you don’t want to miss this one.

✨ We’re back… and we’re bringing something special ✨

It’s been far too long since our last post—and honestly, that’s on us. When we go quiet on social media, it’s usually because we’re doing what we do best: out in the field, building homes and serving our clients. But we’ve got so much to share, so it’s time to catch up.

Today we’re excited to share completed photos of this beautiful home we closed back in November in the Huntsburg neighborhood in 🏡

This wasn’t just any spec home. It was originally slated to be our second 2025 Parade of Homes entry, but buyers swooped in and claimed it before it ever hit the market. While it never got officially judged… it’s an award-winner in our book. 🥇

And as we always say about this one—the exterior has eyes, and that’s just a fact 👀🔥

Yesterday, our world changed. 🌎 💔

Many of you have asked over the years where the name Colebrooke came from, and it’s a story we’ve always loved to share. Our business was named after two of the biggest inspirations in our lives: our first son, Coleman, and our loyal German Shepherd, Brooke. She was more than a family dog—she was part of our daily lives, part of our work, and truly part of the heart behind our company. 🐶

For 12 wonderful years, Brooke was by our side. She grew with our family, watched countless projects come to life, and reminded us every day of the values we strive to build into each home—loyalty, warmth, protection, and love.

Yesterday, Brooke crossed the rainbow bridge.

This isn’t a post showcasing a beautifully completed home. Instead, it’s about honoring a beautiful soul who helped shape who we are as a family and as a business. Brooke will forever be woven into the story of Colebrooke—into our name, our logo, and the legacy we work to build for families across Franklin and surrounding counties.
