The Lacunza Itaca is the most powerful Lacunza fireplace available in South Africa, designed for large open spaces that demand serious heating performance. Available in two impressive sizes, the Itaca 100 (9–17 kW) and Itaca 120 (10–18 kW), this fireplace delivers unmatched warmth and efficiency.

The Itaca features a unique vertical sliding glass door, operated by a smooth counterweight system. This allows effortless opening and closing while showcasing an unobstructed view of the flames, up to an incredible 1200 mm wide.

To maximise efficiency, the Itaca comes standard with a powerful convection fan. This system draws cool air from the room, channels it around the fireplace, and circulates heated air back into the living space, ensuring fast and even warmth. For convenience, the Itaca is equipped with wheels for easy positioning and adjustable legs that lift the unit once in place.

As with all Lacunza fireplaces, the Itaca is backed by an exceptional 10-year warranty and meets and exceeds the Eco-Design 2022 requirements, ensuring outstanding efficiency and environmental responsibility.

Flueless Gas Fireplace

The stainless steel Flueless Gas Fireplace is a great product to heat your home efficiently. This vent-free gas fireplace can be built into almost any surround and does not require a chimney. Perfect for the modern-day open-plan living area. The gas fireplace comes standard with a manual control system. The drop-in gas flueless gas fireplace is available in either powder-coated black or brushed stainless steel.

The vent-free gas grate by Signi Fires® is available in standard lengths of 800, 1000, 1200,1400, 1750, and 2000 mm. We also offer a built-in firebox insert as an option with the gas fireplace in either black or full stainless steel.

These gas fireplaces must be installed by a registered SAQCC installer and according to the manufacturer’s specifications and SANS regulations. A vent-free gas fireplace may not to be installed in bedrooms or bathrooms unless it has a chimney or permanent (non-motorized) extraction system.

A vent-free gas fireplace requires fresh oxygen from underneath the burner to mix with the gas before ignition, this should be incorporated into your design.

Wood and Gas Combo Braai - Atom Gas

Signi Fires® offers a fresh approach to our national pastime the humble braai. Our Gas and Wood Combination Braai provides home chefs with the ultimate cooking weapon to impress their guests. The combo gas and wood braai is available in various sizes (1200, 1400, 1600, 1800 and 2000). Our system is modular making it very easy for customers to choose their components.

First, choose your braai body size and grade of stainless steel and then choose the size of your gas braai section and your wood braai section. The gas Griller section sizes are 390, 590, 770 and 970 and the wood sections are 770, 970, 1170 and 1370. The 770 gas Griller and bigger are pre-fitted with a ceramic searing burner. The sear burner is a ceramic burner that emits much higher, instant temperatures. It’s the first braai in South Africa to feature this type of burner. The ceramic sear burner is perfect for grilling steaks and other meats where caramelisation is required on the outside whilst keeping the inside moist and juicy.

Our standard finish is 304 stainless steel but we offer the braai in 316 stainless steel for extra protection against corrosion. Our braais are 100% grade 304 or 316 stainless steel, we do not use inferior grades such as 430 on any part of the braai. The Griller in the combo braai comes standard with self-ignition k***s and burners and does not require any electrical connection. Please note that the gas braai must be installed by a registered (LPGAS) installer.

The insert combo braai comes standard with a large sliding door that folds neatly underneath the braai and doubles as a functional work surface. When the door is closed it gives the braai a luxurious aesthetic. Optional frame and doors are available for below the braai.

The standard combo braai is designed to be inserted into a prebuilt chimney breast and works with natural draft, however, an extraction canopy (gather) can be fitted to the braai for flue fitment or motorised extraction. If a gather is requested, customers must also install flu pipes.
