At Aerosud, we’ve taken a big step forward in our sustainability efforts by reusing brine water from our RO plant. Instead of going to waste, up to 5,000 litres per hour is now used to irrigate our soccer field and gardens. 🌱⚽
It’s all about making smarter choices—reducing waste, protecting resources, and doing our part for the environment.

𝗕𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝟵

Despite the challenges posed by higher-than-expected summer rainfall, excellent progress continues at our new aerospace manufacturing facility. We are pleased to share that the exterior walls and roof structure are now complete, marking another major construction milestone.

Work on the interior walls is progressing well, with completion expected very soon, while electrical supply connection to the new facility is anticipated during the course of this week—an important step toward operational readiness. In parallel, the facility’s fire protection system is on track to be integrated into the existing site network by mid-June 2026, further advancing readiness for occupation.
Looking ahead, we are excited for the arrival of our solution heat treatment oven and hydraulic metallic press over the next two weeks. These key additions will be installed in the new facility, joining the surface treatment plant already in place and further strengthening our advanced manufacturing capabilities.
With momentum continuing across all fronts, occupation of the new facility remains on track

A great few days at the Aircraft Interiors Expo 2026 in Hamburg.

AIX continues to be one of the most valuable platforms in the aerospace calendar — bringing together suppliers, innovators, and customers from across the global aircraft interiors ecosystem. It was an excellent opportunity to engage with both our existing suppliers and prospective customers, alongside our Business Development team.

Beyond the networking, what stands out is the pace of innovation in materials, cabin solutions, and manufacturing technologies. These engagements are critical — not just for identifying new opportunities, but for staying aligned with where the industry is heading and how we position ourselves for the future.

Strong collaboration across supply chain and commercial teams remains key to unlocking that value.

It was valuable to gain firsthand insight into their facility and better understand their capabilities and capacity. Site visits like these help build a clearer picture of potential within our supply base and support more informed planning going forward.

𝗔𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗻 𝗔𝗲𝗿𝗼𝘀𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗩𝗶𝘀𝗶𝘁:

Continuing our supplier engagement in France, we had the opportunity to visit Align Aerospace in Paris. Align is a key distribution partner supporting our Aircraft General Spares (AGS) across all our programs, ensuring the availability of standard hardware critical to maintaining production flow. Given the importance of these parts, supplier capability and readiness are non-negotiable. This visit focused on a full rate readiness assessment, combined with a walkthrough of their facility and operations. It was valuable to gain deeper insight into their processes, capacity planning, quality controls, and how they are positioning themselves to support future demand. Engagements like these are essential — not only to validate current performance, but to ensure alignment on future requirements, mitigate risk, and strengthen the overall resilience of the supply chain. Thank you to the Align Aerospace team for the open discussions and collaboration.

𝗝𝗣𝗥 𝗩𝗶𝘀𝗶𝘁

Great to be back on the ground with our suppliers. This time in Amiens, France, visiting JPR (Hutchinson). JPR is a key supplier supporting our Safran and Airbus programs, supplying specialised seal materials for critical aerospace applications. Seeing their manufacturing processes firsthand — from material formulation to final seal production — was both insightful and valuable. Visits like these go beyond audits or performance reviews. They strengthen alignment, build trust, and give a much deeper understanding of the technical capability behind the products we rely on every day. It also reinforces the importance of close collaboration across the supply chain to maintain quality and reliability in aerospace. Appreciate the team at JPR for hosting us and sharing their expertise.

Aerosud is proud to have welcomed our valued customer, SAFRAN, to Aerosud for a focused operational excellence and partnership visit.

The session centred on the 120VU and SAFRAN door work packages, where our teams collaborated closely to identify opportunities to further improve part flow, manufacturing efficiency, and on-time delivery performance to consistently meet customer shipment commitments.

The visit also included a comprehensive facility walk-through, during which several enhancement opportunities were identified, particularly within the paint shop areas. Continuous improvement initiatives, including the stacking and routing of multiple sheet metal sheets together, were also discussed as potential trials to further optimize workflow and throughput.

At Aerosud, visits like these reinforce the strength of our customer partnerships and our shared commitment to world-class aerospace manufacturing, continuous improvement, and delivery excellence.
