At Cousins Steel International, success is measured by what leaves our factory — and that starts with the people we trust to verify it.
In 2026, we welcomed Hlalanathi (Nathi) Hlongwa to our Quality Control team as an intern. Working at the intersection of precision and accountability, Nathi doesn't just inspect parts; she digs into why problems happen and makes sure they don't happen again.
This year, she's played a central role in our root cause analysis on critical beamline fabrication defects, documenting corrective actions and verifying they actually work.
In structural steel, one missed defect can compromise an entire structure. That pressure is also an opportunity; it's why we give people like Nathi real responsibility early, real mentorship from experienced inspectors, and a clear path toward becoming the quality leaders our industry needs.
CSI's reputation is built on what our QC team catches. We're backing Nathi to carry that forward.
