A behind-the-scenes look at our recent outdoor renovation 🏖️

This project was a reminder that unexpected changes can sometimes lead to even better outcomes! 🦩

We worked within the existing structures of our home, like keeping the original brickwork for our braai area and moving the pool layout to accommodate an existing drainage line.

There is a lot of misunderstanding when it comes to what an architect ACTUALLY does!

I pinky promise I do a lot more than make complicated pictures of buildings, most of the work takes place long before anything actually gets built - leading to some confusion about what goes on behind the scenes. There are generally 6 steps that take place in the architectural process.
