With 155 MW of renewable energy now contributing to South Africa’s energy system, this project is a powerful example of what can be achieved through collaboration, engineering excellence and trusted partnerships.

Tractionel Holdings is looking for an experienced Team Leader to join our site-based teams across all regions.

The successful candidate will supervise and coordinate TX OHL construction activities, including set-out and foundation installation, tower assembly and er****on, conductor and OPGW stringing and regulation, while ensuring quality workmanship, safe ex*****on, compliance, and effective use of resources.

Applicants must have Grade 12 and at least 3 years’ experience as a construction team leader and/or stringing machine operator in overhead line infrastructure construction. Required training includes Stringing Equipment Operating, Hydraulic Crimping, Working at Heights, Fall Arrest & Rescue, First Aid Level 2, and Firefighting. Additional qualifications such as Pole Climbing, Rigging, HIRA, Excavation Supervisor, Legal Liability, and IRCON Construction Regulations will be advantageous.

Tractionel Holdings is looking for two experienced Construction Supervisors to join our site-based teams across all regions.

The successful candidates will be responsible for supervising construction teams, allocating work and resources, managing plant and equipment, maintaining project documentation, monitoring quality assurance and control, and ensuring compliance with health, safety, environmental, and legal requirements.

Applicants must have Grade 12, at least 3 years' experience in overhead line infrastructure construction, a valid driver’s licence, and the required safety and construction certifications, including Legal Liability, HIRA, First Aid Level 2, Construction Regulations, Working at Heights, and Fall Arrest & Rescue. N6 with a valid trade test, ORHVS, and Eskom Distribution & Transmission Authorisation will be advantageous.

Our Head Office team rolled up their sleeves and joined thousands of volunteers at the Rise Against Hunger Africa meal-packing event at the Sandton Convention Centre for Mandela Day.

Together, an incredible 682,000 nutritious meals were packed in a single day, helping provide essential nutrition to children attending Early Childhood Development (ECD) centres across South Africa.

We're proud to have contributed our 67 minutes to an initiative that demonstrates the power of teamwork, generosity, and collective action. Every meal packed is a step towards a future where every child has the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive.
