Implats has seven mining operations and the toll-refining business, Impala Refining Services. Our mines are located on three of the most significant PGM deposits in the world: the Bushveld Complex in South Africa, the Canadian Shield in North America and the Great Dyke in Zimbabwe. Implats’ mining operations include Impala Rustenburg, Impala Bafokeng, Zimplats, Marula, Impala Canada’s Lac des Iles, Mimosa and Two Rivers.

Our Marula Fishing Club enjoyed a successful weekend at Nonyana River Lodge, with participants demonstrating skill, patience and determination despite the chilly Vaal River conditions. Congratulations to Grant Sibuyi (12.32 kg), Joe Sandilands (7.4 kg) and Mike Komane (4.38 kg) for securing the top three spots. Zimplats recently donated 30 000 bricks and 600 bags of cement to support planned infrastructure upgrades at St Michael’s Mission Hospital in the Mhondoro-Ngezi area of Mashonaland West province, Zimbabwe. Marula’s soccer and netball teams recently took the field in the first round of the 2026 Inter-mines Sports Tournament, competing against strong teams from Northam Eland, Modikwa, Valterra Mogalakwena and Gold One. Our soccer team delivered an impressive performance, securing second place overall. Special recognition to Walter Makofane (top goal scorer), Harris Mashabela (defender of the tournament) and Tumelo Phokane (runner-up best goalkeeper). The netball team showed resilience and determination, drawing one match and narrowly missing out in four closely contested games. Well done to both teams for representing Marula with pride, teamwork and excellence.
