Implats has seven mining operations and the toll-refining business, Impala Refining Services. Our mines are located on three of the most significant PGM deposits in the world: the Bushveld Complex in South Africa, the Canadian Shield in North America and the Great Dyke in Zimbabwe. Impala Canada continues to support education in Thunder Bay through multi-year funding, scholarships for indigenous students and partnerships with Confederation College, Chapter One and Outland Youth Employment Programme. In 2025, five students received financial support, while around 100 learners benefited from Mining Matters workshops, which help build awareness about the mining sector.

Our Marula Fishing Club enjoyed a successful weekend at Nonyana River Lodge, with participants demonstrating skill, patience and determination despite the chilly Vaal River conditions. Congratulations to Grant Sibuyi (12.32 kg), Joe Sandilands (7.4 kg) and Mike Komane (4.38 kg) for securing the top three spots. Thank you to all who participated in a memorable weekend of camaraderie, friendly competition and great catches.
