Come and see the aircraft working, not just sitting on a table.

Next Friday we will be spending the day in the field near Nelspruit demonstrating a selection of agricultural and enterprise drone systems.

There will be live spraying, thermal work, LiDAR mapping and an opportunity to see how these different platforms are actually used during an operation.

SEE WHERE YOUR CROP IS UNDER STRESS—BEFORE THE DAMAGE BECOMES OBVIOUS. 🌱🌡️

Uneven irrigation and developing water stress are not always easy to identify from ground level. The DJI Matrice 4T provides a fast aerial perspective, combining radiometric thermal data with detailed visual imagery to help agricultural teams investigate temperature variations across crops.

Its 640 × 512 radiometric thermal sensor supports spot and area temperature measurement, while 16-bit R-JPEG files allow captured thermal information to be analysed after the flight. The aircraft also supports high-resolution thermal imaging under specified operating conditions.

Thermal surveys can help identify patterns that may indicate:

Water stress
Uneven or failed irrigation
Blocked irrigation lines or emitters
Areas requiring closer ground inspection
Differences in canopy temperature across a field

RTK-supported positioning also assists with accurately recording and revisiting areas of concern during follow-up inspections.

Thermal imagery does not replace agronomic assessment or physical crop inspection, but it can help direct your team to the right areas sooner—saving time and supporting more informed decisions.
