Agricultural waste does not necessarily have to remain waste—it could become a valuable energy resource for your business.

Biogas technology can convert organic residues such as sugarcane field waste, banana pseudostems, unwanted fruit and packhouse waste into renewable fuel.

Biogas can be used to generate electricity and heat or upgraded to biomethane for use or sale as natural gas, where suitable infrastructure and market arrangements exist.

From 1 September, Eskom’s Ruraflex Time-of-Use periods move into the Low Demand Season.
