✓ Experience gained at a pump company / pump services company
✓ Millwright Trade Test (qualified in last 3 years) and Matric/N3
✓ Relevant experience (stripping, assembling, testing, repairing) on centrifugal and submersible pumps
✓ Pump fitting and repair (electrical & mechanical) experience

Remuneration:

FIELD SERVICE TECHNICIAN - BLOW MOULDING (JOBURG)

Leading plastics company requires a Qualified Artisan / Technician with strong experience in the plastic packaging industry and excellent knowledge of the entire blow moulding process, for a field service role.
The successful candidate will travel throughout Gauteng, as well as to neighbouring countries, to provide customer technical support.

Requirements
✓ Trade Test (mech / elec) OR N6 Engineering (mech / elec)
✓ Minimum 3-5 years experience in plastic packaging industry
✓ Knowledge of entire blow moulding process - material feeding, blow mould machines, downstream equipment, recycling, chillers, compressors etc.
✓ Valid driver's license, and experience driving with a trailer
✓ Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
✓ Solid admin skills for record keeping and stock control
✓ Supervisory experience advantageous

Requirements:
- Trade tested artisan OR National Diploma Mechanical / Electrical Engineering
- Previous setting experience in blow / injection moulding in packaging
- Supervisory / team management experience

Duties:
- Lead and assist 15-20 staff
- Maintain efficiencies, product quality, machines, paperwork
- Monitor raw material usage, machine and mould performance
