PROCESS TECHNICIANS - INJECTION MOULDING (JOBURG)

Major packaging manufacturer requires Process Technicians with strong experience in plastic injection moulding gained in the packaging industry, for their Germiston site.
Successful candidates will be required to set up, optimise, maintain and troubleshoot injection moulding machines and processes.

Required:
→ Trade tested Millwright or Electrician
→ Strong experience in plastic injection moulding (packaging industry)
→ Proven experience in injection moulding set up, optimisation and troubleshooting
→ Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems
→ Familiar with food safety, GMP and HACCP requirements
→ South African citizen

FIELD SERVICE TECHNICIAN - BLOW MOULDING (JOBURG)

Leading plastics company requires a Qualified Artisan / Technician with strong experience in the plastic packaging industry (HDPE & PET) and excellent knowledge of the entire blow moulding process, for a field service role.
The successful candidate will travel throughout Gauteng, as well as to neighbouring countries, to provide customer technical support.

Requirements
✓ Trade Test (mech / elec) OR N6 Engineering (mech / elec)
✓ Minimum 3-5 years experience in plastic packaging industry (HDPE & PET)
✓ Knowledge of entire blow moulding process - material feeding, blow mould machines, downstream equipment, recycling, chillers, compressors etc.
✓ Valid driver's license, and experience driving with a trailer
✓ Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
✓ Solid admin skills for record keeping and stock control
✓ Supervisory experience advantageous

QUALITY CONTROLLER - WELDING / PIPING (JOBURG)

International company with offices in Edenvale requires a Quality Controller with 5+ years relevant QC experience in welding / piping, requirements as follows:

→ Matric / N3
→ SAIW Inspection Qualification - Level 1 minimum, Level 2 preferred
→ Dye Penetrant Testing Level 2 advantageous
→ 5+ years relevant QC experience in welding / piping
→ Computer literate, including MS Office and ERP systems
→ Driver's license and own car (occasional client visits)
→ Knowledge of regulatory requirements and standards, including Pressure Equipment Regulations (PER) and SANS 347
→ Working knowledge of following standards - ASME B31.3, EN14917, ASME IX, EN15614

Remuneration:
→ Monthly CTC package of R43 000

Tasks:
→ Quality equipment integrity
→ Quality inspection of procured and manufactured equipment
→ Relevant administration
→ Work as part of a team, and liaise with clients
→ Adhere to relevant standards, procedures, regulations, processes
