The Heritage Lamp Standards lighting spanning across the Bathurst CBD was initially installed from 1872 onwards. During this era they were gas lanterns🔥
In 1924 after the electrification of regional NSW towns, the original gas lamp standards were gradually converted to electricity with filament lamps💡
In 2019, Kelso Electrical completed a roll-out for wiring and component upgrades to retrofit energy saving LED’s 🍃
Since these upgrades, our team has been responsible for the ongoing maintenance across the 105 heritage listed street lamps standards👨🏼🔧
Take a trip back in time with a maintenance crew conducting lamp standards repairs in the mid 1900’s, then fast-forward to the early hours of this morning where our team completes the very same duties 🔧
As time passes by and technology evolves, thankfully some things still remain the same 🕰️
