🎉 Project Completion: Tinaroo Environmental Education Centre – Black Gully Campus PWD Ramp

Black & More is pleased to share the practical completion of the Tinaroo Environmental Education Centre (TEEC) – Black Gully Campus PWD Ramp project, completed on 11 May 2026.

Our services included:
✅ Tendering and procurement management
✅ Preparation of contract documentation and tender packages
✅ Contract administration and superintendent services
✅ Construction phase management and stakeholder coordination
✅ Site inspections and practical completion management
✅ Defects liability period management

The completed ramp provides improved accessibility and safer movement throughout the Black Gully Campus, supporting inclusive access for students, staff, and visitors.

We’re proud to have partnered with the Department of Education, contractors, and project stakeholders to deliver this important accessibility upgrade for the TEEC community.

We’re pleased to announce the Freshwater State School Staff Carpark Project reached practical completion on 8 May 2026 🎉

Black & More was engaged by the Department of Education to provide Project Management services for the delivery of a new staff carpark at Freshwater State School.

🚧 Project highlights:
• Construction of a new 42-space bitumen sealed staff carpark
• Improved site access and functionality for school staff
• Delivery in collaboration with project consultants and contractors

This new infrastructure provides a safer, more practical parking solution that will support the day-to-day operations of the school for years to come.

We’re proud to have worked alongside the Department of Education, consultants, and contractors to deliver these important improvements for Freshwater State School.

We’re proud to be supporting the design and delivery of a dedicated female-only gym facility for the Wujal Wujal community 💪🏽

Black & More is working alongside Castle Design and the Wujal Wujal Aboriginal Shire Council to bring this important project to life - focused on creating a safe, inclusive space that promotes the health, fitness, and wellbeing of women and girls in the community.

Project highlights:
• Purpose-built masonry block facility located adjacent to the existing community hall & recreation centre
• Air-conditioned for comfort in all seasons
• Built-in lockers & secure key fob entry
• Kitchenette & bathroom amenities
• Accessible design with PWD ramp access

The design reflects both functionality and connection to place - offering a welcoming, practical space that supports community wellbeing for Wujal Wujal.

The project is currently open for Construction Tenders, and we’re excited to see this project progress.

We’re proud to have played a role in the delivery of the new Cairns Medicare Mental Health Centre at 267 Mulgrave Road, Bungalow — an important new facility providing greater access to mental health support for the Cairns community.

Black & More was honoured to be engaged by Mind Australia as Contract Superintendent during the construction phase, overseeing the administration of the contract, inspections, progress claims, and supporting the successful delivery of this important project.

Projects like this are especially meaningful to us because mental health matters. At Black & More, we believe supporting wellbeing starts within our own workplace through initiatives such as:
