A pretty special milestone in Oxley as we officially hand over the first of two neighbouring homes we’ve had the privilege of building for our client.

It’s always a great feeling seeing months of planning, selections and construction come together, and we couldn’t be happier with how this one has turned out.

Why do we prefer building with timber? 🪵🏡

Timber is a natural insulator. Unlike steel, it doesn't readily transfer outside heat and cold through the frame, helping reduce thermal bridging and improve the overall thermal performance of your home.

Steel also expands and contracts with temperature changes and, because it conducts heat so effectively, requires careful thermal management to reduce heat transfer through the frame.

It's one of the many reasons we prefer timber framing at Munro Designed Homes.
