Fluid Power (AU) is a proudly Territory-owned engineering company that has been supporting the Mining, Defence, Marine and Oil & Gas industries across the Northern Territory for more than 20 years.
We're looking for someone who has mechanical aptitude, enjoys working with people, a practical mindset, and wants to build a long-term career with a company that values attitude just as much as experience.
If you're enthusiastic, reliable and willing to learn, we'll provide the training and support to help you succeed.
What you'll be doing
Working alongside our experienced Supply Specialist and Sales Engineer, you'll learn to:
🔹 Assist customers over the phone, by email and at our trade counter
🔹 Prepare quotations and process sales orders
🔹 Learn to identify hydraulic hoses, fittings, seals and engineering components
🔹 Source and order parts from suppliers
🔹 Assist with inventory and stock control
🔹 Build strong relationships with customers and become a trusted member of our team

We'd love to hear from you if you:
✔ Enjoy helping people and providing great customer service
✔ Have a practical or mechanical interest and like learning how things work
✔ Are organised and able to juggle multiple tasks
✔ Have good computer skills
✔ Take pride in doing a job well
✔ Have a positive attitude and are keen to learn
Experience in retail, customer service, automotive, warehousing, parts interpreting, hospitality or administration would all be viewed favourably—but isn't essential.
