Storeperson – Inventory & Warehouse Control
Location: Emerald
Employment Type: Full-Time (Potential for Part-Time)
Start Date: January 2026
TNC Cranes is expanding, and we’re looking for a highly organised, proactive Storeperson to take ownership of our newly created onsite store. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on creating order, streamlining systems, and ensuring every part, tool, and consumable is exactly where it needs to be.
As our Storeperson, you will play a critical role in supporting our field teams and workshop by maintaining the accuracy, flow and reliability of all inventory movements across the business.
What You’ll Be Doing
• Taking full ownership of the store, storage layout, and stock organisation
• Receiving, checking and processing all incoming inventory, tools and equipment
• Coordinating dispatch and delivery of parts to technicians and job sites
• Maintaining accurate stock levels and conducting regular cycle counts and stocktakes
• Implementing systematic processes for stock control, labelling, tracking and record-keeping
• Managing purchase order receipting in line with company procedures
• Ensuring the store area is safe, clean, and working efficiently
• Working closely with the operations team to forecast stock needs and support project and service work
• Maintain vehicle maintenance and site compliance register
• Maintain tool and equipment maintenance and calibration
What We’re Looking For
• Someone naturally organised, systematic and detail-focused
• Experience in stock control, warehousing, or stores management (preferred but not essential)
• Strong initiative and a desire to build and improve systems
• Confidence using inventory or job management software (Simpro experience a bonus)
• Ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced, growing business
• A reliable team player with clear communication skills
