This Men’s Health Week, we’re backing an important conversation.
In our industry, the tough days, long swings, remote work and pressure can sometimes mean health takes a back seat — especially when it comes to speaking up.
At Cooper McCullough Group, we know looking after your health isn’t just about physical fitness, it’s about mental wellbeing, checking in with your mates, and making sure no one carries the load alone.
A simple conversation can make a big difference.
To all the blokes across our crews, workshops, offices and project sites, book the check-up, have the chat, ask the question, and look out for each other.
Strong teams are built by people who have each other’s backs.

Bill Murphy Bridge (Phillips Creek) officially opened 28th April — and what a ride it’s been.
Projects like this don’t come easy. Challenging ground conditions, significant rock excavation, tight interfaces, weather, logistics and plenty of problem-solving along the way.
We’re incredibly proud to have played a key role in delivering the civil works that helped bring this important piece of infrastructure to life for the region.
From over 40,000m³ of hard rock excavation, complex tie-ins, earthworks, drainage, pavement, this one pushed the team, and the result speaks for itself.
A huge thank you to Davbridge for the opportunity to work alongside your team on this project, and to Isaac Regional Council for investing in important infrastructure that will benefit the region for years to come.
Big credit as well to our crews, project team, subcontractors and suppliers who put in the hard yards to get this one across the line.
A challenging project, a great partnership, and an outcome the whole region can be proud of.

CMG Spotlight – Celebrating 5 Years with Luke!
This month, we're proud to celebrate a significant milestone as Luke marks 5 years with Cooper McCullough Group.
Since joining CMG, Luke has become a highly respected Supervisor, helping deliver projects safely, efficiently, and to the high standard our clients have come to expect. His commitment to quality, strong work ethic, and ability to lead crews in challenging and remote environments have made him an invaluable asset to the business.

Whether it's tackling complex site challenges, remote logistics or simply being the first to lend a hand, Luke consistently embodies the values that make CMG what it is today.
Thank you, Luke, for your dedication, loyalty, and contribution to CMG's growth and success. We appreciate everything you do and look forward to many more years working together.

Out in the heart of the Balonne Shire, our crew is getting stuck into another pavement rehabilitation package.
Remote projects like these are where CMG thrives, delivering quality outcomes in challenging locations while keeping productivity, safety, and efficiency front of mind. It’s the kind of work we’re built for.
And while it’s remote, it’s hard to beat working in such a beautiful part of the country.
Great effort from the team on the ground getting it done.
Proudly Built for Remote.

National Road Safety Week 2026
Every day across our projects, our teams are working on live roads, not closed environments.
That means safety doesn’t stop at the work zone. It extends to every motorist, every truck driver, every local heading home.
At Cooper McCullough Group, we see firsthand how critical road safety is across regional Queensland. High speeds, long distances, fatigue, and changing conditions all increase the risk, particularly through roadwork zones.
This week is a reminder of a shared responsibility:
For our crews to plan, set up, and manage safe work zones
For drivers to slow down, stay alert, and respect traffic control
For everyone to make decisions that protect lives, not just schedules
Behind every set of traffic cones is a team on the ground.
People with families. People doing a job that keeps our regions connected.
We’re proud to deliver projects that improve road safety outcomes but just as importantly, we’re committed to protecting those working on and travelling through our sites every day.
Slow down. Stay alert. Get home safe.
Built for Remote. Built for Safety.

This week we’re shining the spotlight on Wes, one of CMG’s Project Engineers currently working out at Daunia Mine.
Wes plays a key role in supporting the successful delivery of works on site, from planning and coordination through to quality, safety, and day-to-day project ex*****on. His attention to detail, practical approach, and commitment to getting the job done make him a valued member of the CMG team.
Working in a remote mine environment takes adaptability, strong communication, and a willingness to jump in where needed, qualities Wes brings to site every day.
Thanks for your hard work, Wes. Great to have you on the team.
Proudly Built for Remote.
