TEAM SPOTLIGHT | ANDREW
Meet Andrew, one of CMG’s Superintendents and a key part of keeping our projects moving in the right direction.
With extensive experience across civil construction, Andrew brings strong practical knowledge, leadership and a no-nonsense approach to delivering works safely and efficiently on the ground.
From coordinating crews and plant to managing daily construction activities, solving problems and keeping an eye on program, quality and safety, Andrew is right across the action and knows what it takes to get the job done.
Civil construction rarely goes exactly to plan, and having experienced people like Andrew leading from the front makes all the difference. His practical approach and ability to work alongside our crews are a big part of delivering the standard CMG expects across our projects.
Great to have you leading the charge, Andrew!

We liked it so much... we bought it!
After putting the new Wirtgen WR 240X through its paces, the decision was easy.
CMG is proud to now own the first Wirtgen WR 240X in Australia, adding another industry-leading machine to our growing fleet and strengthening our capability to deliver large-scale pavement stabilisation projects across regional and remote Queensland.
With several major stabilisation projects already in the pipeline, this machine won't be spending much time in the yard, it's heading straight to work where it'll help us deliver greater productivity, precision and efficiency for our clients.
A huge thank you to everyone involved in making this happen. We can't wait to see what this machine delivers on the ground.
The future of stabilisation is here.
Proudly Built for Remote.

At Cooper McCullough Group, we're proud to support the communities that support us.
We're excited to be backing the Aspley Hornets Under 13 Mixed Junior AFL Team (Team Weller) as they continue their fundraising efforts for the season.
If you're in the area, be sure to stop by the Bunnings Brendale BBQ on Sunday, 12 July 2026. Grab a sausage sizzle, enjoy a great feed, and help support a fantastic group of young athletes as they continue to develop their skills, teamwork and love for the game.
Community sport plays an important role in building confidence, resilience and lifelong friendships, and we're proud to play a small part in helping the next generation thrive.
Good luck to Team Weller for the rest of the season—we're behind you all the way!

This NAIDOC Week, Cooper McCullough Group proudly joins communities across Australia in celebrating the history, cultures, achievements and enduring contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
At CMG, we recognise that meaningful reconciliation is built through action. We are committed to creating opportunities through local employment, supporting Indigenous participation across our workforce, engaging with Indigenous businesses where possible, and fostering respectful relationships with the communities in which we work.
We are proud of the diverse team we have helping deliver projects across Queensland. We know there is always more to do, and we remain committed to building a workplace where everyone has the opportunity to succeed, contribute and feel valued.
As we work across regional and remote Queensland, we acknowledge the Traditional Owners of the lands on which we live and work, and we pay our respects to Elders past and present. We also recognise the next generation of leaders who continue to strengthen culture, community and Country.
This NAIDOC Week, we encourage everyone to take the time to learn, listen and celebrate the rich cultures and stories that have shaped our nation for more than 65,000 years.
Happy NAIDOC Week from the team at Cooper McCullough Group.

We made it… somehow. 😅
Another Financial Year down, another big one in the books for Cooper McCullough Group.
A huge thanks to our crews, clients, suppliers, and support team who helped get us through another busy year.
Now it’s time to roll straight into the next one, with more projects, more challenges, and probably more spreadsheets than anyone wants.
FY27, we’re ready for you.

This Men’s Health Week, we’re backing an important conversation.
In our industry, the tough days, long swings, remote work and pressure can sometimes mean health takes a back seat — especially when it comes to speaking up.
At Cooper McCullough Group, we know looking after your health isn’t just about physical fitness, it’s about mental wellbeing, checking in with your mates, and making sure no one carries the load alone.
A simple conversation can make a big difference.
To all the blokes across our crews, workshops, offices and project sites, book the check-up, have the chat, ask the question, and look out for each other.
Strong teams are built by people who have each other’s backs.

Bill Murphy Bridge (Phillips Creek) officially opened 28th April — and what a ride it’s been.
Projects like this don’t come easy. Challenging ground conditions, significant rock excavation, tight interfaces, weather, logistics and plenty of problem-solving along the way.
We’re incredibly proud to have played a key role in delivering the civil works that helped bring this important piece of infrastructure to life for the region.
From over 40,000m³ of hard rock excavation, complex tie-ins, earthworks, drainage, pavement, this one pushed the team, and the result speaks for itself.
A huge thank you to Davbridge for the opportunity to work alongside your team on this project, and to Isaac Regional Council for investing in important infrastructure that will benefit the region for years to come.
Big credit as well to our crews, project team, subcontractors and suppliers who put in the hard yards to get this one across the line.
A challenging project, a great partnership, and an outcome the whole region can be proud of.
