The July course calendar is here folks — and we have some exciting updates. 🔧

First up, we're thrilled to let you know that we now have afternoon sessions available for some of our Home Maintenance courses, running from 1:30pm to 5:30pm. Same great course, same small groups, same hands on learning — just a time that works a little better for more of you.

And the big news — we are introducing a brand new Artists Day to the WOTT calendar. This is a dedicated day of courses designed specifically with artists in mind.

There is genuinely something for everyone in July so head to the link in bio and have a look at what's on offer at womenonthetools.com.au. Spots are limited and courses at WOTT do not hang around for long!

Already got your eye on something that's sold out? Jump on the waitlist — that's how we fill cancellations and how we know when to add more dates. 🙌

JC recently had a chat with the incredible Tarrsha from Indigo Commercial!

And if you've been anywhere near the news in the past couple of weeks, you'll already know exactly who they are.

Indigo Commercial made headlines right across the country after advertising construction roles with school-hours scheduling and receiving thousands of applications from parents who had simply been locked out of site work because the hours never worked for their lives.

And the response said it all — thousands of applications from parents who had been waiting for exactly this kind of opportunity. Tarrsha has done something really special in recognising that gap and actually doing something about it, and we are here for it.

We had an incredible first meeting and there are some exciting conversations happening behind the scenes. We're not quite ready to share the details just yet — but we couldn't not introduce you to Tarrsha because what she's building deserves every bit of attention it's getting.

Never picked up a power tool? That’s exactly who this course is for👇

Home Maintenance 101 is our most popular course for a reason — in just half a day, you’ll go from complete beginner to knowing your way around a toolkit, using a drill, and actually hanging something on a wall properly.

No experience. No judgement. Just six women, hands-on learning, and a handy tool to take home at the end.

This course keeps selling out and we’ve just added new dates to keep up with demand.

👉 Head to the link in bio to grab your spot before it’s gone.

Already sold out on your preferred date? Jump on the waitlist. You’ll be first to know about cancellations and any new dates we add.

Another sunny weekend down at the WOTT workshop! We were busy with back to back Home Maintenance 101 courses as well as our ever popular (and rare!) Motor Vehicle Maintenance course.
Our members were in and out over the weekend with Nicola making a special appearance to learn all about windows.

We love a busy weekend and can’t wait until the next one! Will you be joining us?

Would it be a surprise to say there were lots of smiles around the workshop this weekend?! We worked hard, laughed harder and even learned a thing or two along the way :)

This weekend’s line up looked like:
🖌️Home Maintenance 103: Prep and Painting
🔨Intro to Carpentry: Garden Bench
🚐 Our monthly caravan and camper club

And of course we had some members getting stuck into their ongoing projects (Emma’s welding some incredible garden arbors) and staff getting heaps of course prep done so all the courses run smoothly!

Maybe we’ll see you next weekend?
