Progress update from Maroubra.

This project involves the construction of a new pedestrian footpath bridge over the garage exit, required by council and supported by two columns over 4 metres high.

The previous bridge was demolished to allow for the new structure, and our team is currently completing the formwork in preparation for the concrete works. It’s a critical stage that sets up the strength, accuracy and finish of the final result.

Precision starts long before the concrete pour. 👷‍♂️

Progress on this custom off-form slab in Bondi Beach, where every detail of the formwork matters.

With off-form concrete, the plywood becomes part of the final finish. Every joint and every line will be visible once the forms are stripped, so precision at this stage is critical.

For this project, each piece of plywood is individually cut and positioned to create the exact pattern and concrete finish specified by the client.

The slab frames and beam formwork are now taking shape, with plenty more detail still to come before we’re ready for the pour.

Wrapping up the week with this residential access
staircase project in Sydney.

The original entry had a steep ramp that made
access difficult. We replaced it with concrete
stairs — safer, more functional and a much better
look for the front of the home.
