🏊 Another pool install!

Our Maeda CC1485S-1 mini crawler crane was out on the job installing a fibreglass pool recently - and as always, it handled the lift with ease.

🏗️ Night shift done right in the Sydney CBD!

Our Maeda MC405C-3 spider crane tackled a challenging install - lifting and placing a steel canopy with copper roof sheeting right in the heart of the city, working overnight alongside a live tram line.

With thorough planning, traffic management, and all the correct permits in place, the Maeda MC405C-3 proved itself as the perfect machine for the job. Its impressive lifting capacity combined with its compact working footprint made it ideal for this tight, high-traffic location.

🚧 EMPLOYEE SPOTLIGHT – ANDY 🚧

Meet Andy, one of the experienced operators helping drive Nash Crane Hire forward.

Andy joined Nash Crane Hire in October last year and brings over 30 years of industry experience to the team.

His passion for cranes started early, fascinated by the industry from his apprentice days, and that passion still drives him today.

🏗 Favourite project: Woodlawn Wind Farm

🔥 Favourite equipment: “Sennebogen by far” and a big fan of telescopic crawler cranes.

One thing Andy says people don’t realise about crane work is just how complex it can be.

“There’s a lot happening around you at any given time. You’ve got to stay switched on and aware of everything around you.”

And despite the old joke that crane operators “sit there and do nothing all day”, the reality is very different — precision, planning, safety and experience matter every single lift.

Outside of work, Andy enjoys boating and jet skis.

Most importantly, Andy’s focus every day on site is simple:

“Everyone goes home in one piece.”

One of Andy’s favourite things about Nash Crane Hire has been seeing the business grow from the ground up and being part of the journey every day.
