Our very own Stacey Toskas was invited to speak on the panel at the Girls Can Too Graduation & Speed Networking event, addressing a room of more than 100 female students exploring pathways in construction.

It was a privilege to be part of an important conversation about creating real opportunities for young women to see where a career in construction can take them.

With the industry facing significant skills shortages, programs like Girls Can Too play a vital role in connecting students with industry, challenging outdated perceptions and opening up pathways they may not have previously considered.

At NICCO, this work aligns closely with our purpose of building a sustainable future, not just through the products we make, but through the people and pathways we help create.

Thank you to RIEP, TAFE NSW and everyone involved in supporting the next generation of skilled tradespeople.

RESPONSIBLE CHOICES // Wood is a low-carbon option for building. It is renewable, it stores carbon for the long-term, and it has a lower embodied energy than many other building materials. This is why timber windows and doors can assist in reducing the carbon footprint of a building.
