🏗️ Project Milestone: Hervey Bay Community Hub reaches new heights
We’re proud to share that the Hervey Bay Community Hub has reached an exciting milestone — the roof is now in place, marking the building’s highest structural point.
This impressive new facility will soon house the Hervey Bay Library, Council Administration Offices, and the Disaster Relief Centre, serving as a vital resource for the Fraser Coast community.
Project Highlights so far:
🔹 7,400 m³ of concrete poured
🔹 612 tonnes of steel installed
🔹 757 workers contributing to the build
🔹 Roof structure nearing completion
🔹 Building cores almost finished, with precast lids scheduled for mid-October
🔹 45 semi-trailer deliveries of panelised glazing required
🔹 1,100 IGUs delivered across five shipments
🔹 Around 180 lineal metres of glazing installed per floor — nearly two football fields in length!
🔹 Curtain wall panels averaging 260 kg each, with the heaviest reaching 520 kg
This project is coming together beautifully, and we’d like to extend our thanks to our installers working away from home, as well as to our factory and office teams in Brisbane, who are helping bring this community landmark to life. More updates to come.
