An online EES submission focus session will be held on Wednesday, 28 October, from 6:30–8 pm.

These independently facilitated sessions explain how community feedback is considered and how to make a submission.

This morning's session is at Charlton Park Community Centre from 9 am to 11 am.

The Australian Energy Infrastructure Commissioner (AEIC) will attend the sessions and speak about the importance of meaningful community participation.

The AEIC helps support communities affected by renewable energy and transmission projects. It does this by addressing concerns, promoting best-practice engagement, and providing trusted information.

How do I make a submission on the VNI West Environment Effects Statement (EES)?
Making a submission is optional. It’s a formal way to raise an issue, comment on the EES or share information you think should be considered.
You don’t need to respond to the whole EES or draft Planning Scheme Amendment – you can focus on a topic, location or issue that matters to you.

In the third video in our Understanding the EES series, we explain the steps for preparing and lodging a submission and what happens after you submit.
