Think you know your trivia? Time to put it to the test.

MUBES and the Biomedical Engineering RMIT Student Society are teaming up for a night of trivia, competition and questionable confidence in your general knowledge. 👀

Get your friends together, bring your best random facts, and battle it out across a range of trivia rounds — with prizes up for grabs along the way! 🏆

We can’t wait to bring together students from both universities! Whether you’re coming with a full team or flying solo, we’ll help get you sorted.

Expect:
🧠 A range of trivia rounds to test your knowledge
🎮 Games and challenges to break up the competition
🤝 A chance to meet students from both MUBES and BERSS
🏆 Prizes for the teams who come out on top
🍻 A good excuse to put the textbooks away for a night

You don’t need to be a trivia expert — just bring your friends, your competitive spirit and a willingness to have a crack.

MUBES is running our first-ever PCB Design Workshop‼️💻👾

PCB design is a valuable technical skill that isn’t really covered in the degree but in this workshop and we’ll take you through the basics!

We will be using EasyEDA, a widely used and beginner friendly PCB design software, and guide you through designing a circuit from schematic to PCB and finally manufacturing files. You’ll also get to see an example of the board brought to life!

Prerequisites 💡
• Some basic electronics knowledge is recommended, but we’ll recap the important stuff along the way.

What you’ll need 🧑‍💻
• A laptop with EasyEDA installed.

Three days. 6 teams. Countless ideas, prototypes and pitches.

A huge thank you to everyone who made Medithon 2026 such a success. Over three days, students worked through the Biodesign process to identify real clinical needs, develop innovative MedTech solutions, rapidly prototype their ideas and pitch them to an industry judging panel. 🦾
