15 years of old Mission Brown paint coming off this Merbau deck 👌

Today was all about stripping it back and starting the sanding process to bring the timber back to life. Tomorrow we’ll finish sanding, give it a proper deck wash, then oil it to protect and restore the natural Merbau colour.

Big transformation already underway 🔥

Another deck refresh done 👌

This one had a lot of wear and brutal uneven staining from years of weather and use. After a full sand and recoat, it’s not brand new timber , but it’s now clean, consistent, and uniform right across the whole deck while still looking fresh!

That’s the goal with restorations like this - bring it back to a solid, even finish that looks good and will last.💪

The handrail and screens turned out like they were installed yesterday 😍

Honest result, big improvement.
