Our crew, not our whole crew just the nsw half. But a crew i am grateful for. A team that gives its all because they believe in what we we trying to do. I get it, that sounds like all philosophical bu****it. But my view.... having people work for me is a privilege not a right.

Love my team. Appreciate my team!

Nice shady cars, nothing flash, no bells and whistles. Good design and ex*****on is all it takes. The kicker is that at scale we could drop the temperature of a whole suburb by 2 degrees!!!

What would that mean for you?

This is a heat negative structure 🌡❄️

Not all barriers limit potential.

In schools, smart tensile barriers create safe learning zones, protect active play areas, and define spaces without blocking natural light or connection. The right barriers don't restrict - they enable.

Tensile was proud to deliver custom mesh barriers for the Ribbon Playground in Darling Harbour—a bold, interactive space nestled beneath the Western Distributor and beside the Ribbon Building.

Featuring swing bridges, climbable rigs, and undulating wave and bay zones, the playground reflects its waterfront surroundings with organic shapes and playful geometry.

The safety barriers - crafted from Jakob Webnet mesh and stainless steel cable systems, mirror the structure’s curves while meeting complex engineering and load requirements.

With flexibility akin to fabric, the mesh adapts seamlessly to the playground’s unique forms.

The award-winning Eva and Marc Besen Centre showcases what's possible when precision engineering meets architectural excellence. Working with 541m² of Grade 316 stainless steel mesh from Germany, we achieved installation tolerances of +/- 1-2mm across the entire facade!

The challenge? Bridging precision-manufactured materials with real-world construction tolerances. Our solution involved innovative support systems, custom installation procedures, and meticulous quality control to protect existing mature trees while achieving exceptional results.

Ever wondered what makes tensile structures so elegantly strong?

It's all about precision engineering!

Unlike traditional beams that resist loads through bending, cables work purely in tension, creating incredibly efficient structural systems.

Projects like The Workshop and Melbourne University showcase how advanced cable systems can accommodate complex geometries whilst maintaining structural integrity under all conditions.
