This old Italian gentleman was once someone’s new car.

Someone stood beside him for the first time, keys in hand, unable to stop smiling.

Maybe they saved for years. Maybe they took the long way home just to spend a little longer behind the wheel.

We’ll never know every story this Alfa Romeo Giulia Sprint GT Veloce carries. Who sat in the passenger seat. Where they went. What this car meant to them.

But someone kept him going, long enough for us to stop and admire him today.

Once someone’s pride and joy. Still a reason to look back after walking away.

This is not your average Mercedes-Benz G-Wagen. 🇩🇪

Originally designed for military use, this G-Wagen is packed with equipment you wouldn’t expect to find in an ordinary 4x4.

From provisions for mounting a machine gun to specialised military lighting designed to produce a narrow beam of light and reduce visibility at night, every detail has a specific purpose.

There are also features associated with aircraft operations, alongside the rugged mechanical construction, practical controls and military equipment that make this vehicle so unusual.

Unlike the luxury G-Class models we see today, these vehicles were designed with an entirely different set of priorities: mobility, durability and functionality in demanding environments.
