Our 140-year celebrations are continuing across Australia, with our site at Narangba next to mark the milestone.

Part of the Varley Group Vehicles division, the Narangba team celebrated with a food truck at lunch and were joined by Stephen Moss, General Manager of Varley Vehicles, for the occasion.

Varley Vehicles expanded into Queensland in 1999, establishing operations in Virginia to support the local emergency services market. In 2015, the Virginia operation relocated to a larger manufacturing facility in Narangba, where the team continues to manufacture for Queensland emergency service customers and specialise in a growing range of mobile health solutions.

Here are a few photos from the celebrations.

This year, Varley Group celebrates 140 years.

On 1 August 1886, George Henry Varley opened a small engineering workshop in Newcastle. Since then, Varley has grown and evolved, shaped by generations of people who have contributed their skill, determination and belief to the business.

To mark this milestone, our sites across Australia will host events throughout August, bringing together colleagues, family and friends to celebrate.

First up were Tomago and Carrington. Here are a few photos from the celebrations.

When emergency services crews arrive on scene, their vehicle needs to support the way they work from the moment the call comes in.

That means practical layouts, reliable systems, considered equipment access and a design that supports crew safety and operational performance in demanding conditions.

At AFAC News 26, the Varley Group Special Vehicles - SEM Fire and Rescue team will be sharing our experience delivering frontline emergency response vehicles for agencies across Australia.

Every vehicle is developed to be fit for purpose, practical in the field and ready to support crews when performance matters.

If you are attending hashtag , visit Stand 622 to speak with the team about frontline response capability, fleet requirements and future vehicle programs.

We're pleased to recognise Paul Felix following his retirement from Varley Group.

Paul's connection with Varley spans decades. He first worked with Varley Ship Repair in the 1980s before returning to the business 10 years ago as a Valve Fitter with Varley Power Services. During his second stint, Paul developed a highly regarded skill set in valve overhauls and became a trusted member of the Field Services team.

One of Paul's greatest contributions has been the knowledge he shared with others. Through training and mentoring apprentices, he helped develop the next generation of tradespeople, with many going on to build successful careers.

We thank Paul for his dedication, craftsmanship and contribution to Varley, and wish him all the very best for a well-earned retirement.
