From a major loss fire to complete rebuild
NthStar Constructions was engaged to deliver the ground-up rebuild of five commercial units following a major fire that caused significant structural and internal damage across the site.
Our first priority was safety. The project began with critical make-safe works to stabilise the buildings, manage ongoing hazards, and protect occupants, neighbouring tenancies, and the broader site. These early steps were essential in creating a safe, controlled environment and setting the foundations for everything that followed.
From there, we progressed into full demolition, carried out under the required permits and approvals. This stage required careful planning and sequencing, particularly with shared services, site access, and working within an active commercial precinct.
The rebuild phase focused on restoring and reconstructing the units to a safe, resilient, and fully functional standard under approved building permits ensuring the spaces are ready for long-term use.
Throughout the project, clear communication with surrounding businesses was a key focus. Keeping everyone informed helped minimise disruption, maintain safety, and keep the works moving smoothly.
