Ausmac 2026 was a great reminder of how fast autonomous orchard machinery is moving — and how important strong partnerships are in that space.

With Woods and Schulte exhibiting, the Australian‑made story mattered more than ever. Our Piranha autonomous‑ready slasher package showed what local engineering can deliver: purpose‑built machinery designed for Australian orchards, backed by Australian support, and manufactured by people who live and work in the same industry as our growers.

A big thank‑you to the growers, partners and innovators who spent time with us. Every conversation helps shape the next round of improvements.

11 days until AusMac 2026!

We’re joining SwarmFarm Robotics at AusMac to showcase our new hydraulic mower purpose‑built for autonomous platforms. Designed for seamless integration with the SwarmBot 5 V3, this implement represents a major step forward in safe, PTO‑free orchard maintenance.

No live demo this year — but plenty of opportunities to see the mower up close and talk through the engineering behind it.

Impressive work from the SwarmFarm team. Great to see Rosella putting our fully hydraulic drive Piranha 4100 through real‑world autonomous orchard operation.
Hydraulic drive is proving exactly what we designed it for: consistent cutting, reliable performance, and safer operation without a PTO.
Exciting to watch autonomy and implement innovation move forward together with two Australian made products working side by side.

And with Ausmac 2026 coming up, we’re hoping to have the latest generation robot and slasher combination on show.

250 hours of autonomous operation for the 41‑H3‑FW prototype and it’s looking very promising.
Week 5 of testing shows reliable hydraulic‑drive performance, consistent cut quality, and smooth autonomous behaviour across the orchard. 250 Hours, 519 hectares, 1500 km, 7.73 ltr/hr. No Operator.
